 A certified mindfulness instructor, Steph runs workshops for youth and adults using writing, visual arts and percussion to help students “Get in Tune” and make real connections with themselves and others. She has a BFA in Journalism from Northwestern University, and her work has appeared in the New York Post, Fast Company, Business Insider, the Huffington Post, Medium and Advertising Age. She previously penned The Brooklyn Paper’s Fearless Parenting column and has been a Juno Leadership Resident at the Omega Women’s Leadership Center and a Brooklyn Paper Woman of Distinction.


Food & Cooking

Chef and culinary instructor Sung Uni Lee treats food like an important expression of our inner personality. A certified Holistic Health Counselor, Uni helps students transform simple natural ingredients into exciting global snacks that kids can share with their families!


Music & Songwriting

The dancing smile of Mil’s Trills’ Amelia Robinson as she elicits ideas from kids for emotionally cathartic song lyrics is a sight to behold. What joy to cast fears and worries out of our minds and bodies and into a trilling melody! Her ‘award-winning Messy Music Method’ uses music making to build empathy, mindfulness and emotional literacy.


Improv Acting

Ruby Frazier is the founder of Drama for Success, an integrative arts organization designed to offer personal transformation through improv, drama and other art forms. She has been an Adjunct Professor at Empire State College for more than five years. Formerly, she was a teacher with the New York City Department of Education. Ruby has taught numerous professional development programs, seminars and workshops. Ruby is a certified Business Coach, yoga instructor and author. She lives in Brooklyn.



Yoga & Meditation

Saskia Kaya is a tenured yoga teacher who uses movement as metaphor for a beautiful flowing flexible mind. Her firm yet gentle coaching style pushes kids and adults alike to go further and try harder than they might have thought they could. Saskia received her 200-hr teaching certification from The Yoga Sequence at Loom Yoga Studio in Brooklyn, New York. She has is also trained in mindfulness practices for youth at risk with the Lineage Project and yoga for trauma, empathy, and integration with Anneke Lucas of Liberation Prison Yoga. 


Art & Mindfulness

Agni Zotis is the founder of the educational nonprofit MAY Kids Transform, with a unique formula to positively empower youth and adults reality into a more loving, happier, and calmer world. She is a visionary artist that helps her students by guiding them to a state of best-self, through methods of social, emotional, and powerful artistic learning.



Souel Spiritchild Fénix A ‘freedom singer’ from the South Bronx by way of Staten Island, spiritchild has developed extensive workshops in ‘Critical Revolutionary Hip Hop,’ employing an eclectic, experimental fusion of true school Hip Hop, funk, electronica and jazz to open dialogue about the injustices facing the poor and oppressed, and to inspire action on environmental and social justice in New York City and around the world. spiritchild has worked with homeless youth, youth offenders and young emerging artists as program director of One Mic and EAR (Emerging Artists in Residency) for Art Start and as a mentor, teaching artist and consultant for Urban Art Beat that includes work on Rikers Island. spiritchild also works with Musicambia and Carnegie Hall at Sing Sing Correctional Facility, offering classes on the art of emceeing, production, songwriting and artist development.
